With over a decade of experience in resolving constituent issues, Amy Peck knows what it takes to find solutions, navigate complicated governmental agencies, and get results. Peck was elected in 2019 and is serving in her first term as the Houston City Council Member for District A.
Peck has a long history serving Houstonians. She was the Chief of Staff for former District A Council Member Brenda Stardig and previously worked on the state level of government as a District Director. Prior to that, Peck taught high school geometry. While getting her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of Houston, Peck counseled at the VA Hospital in Houston where she assisted returning veterans and Vietnam veterans who suffered from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), helping them receive the resources, benefits, and psychological support they so badly needed. In addition to the master’s degree, Peck also holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Psychology and Government from the University of Texas-Austin. Peck has the educational background and hands-on experience to help the community and is a life-long Houstonian dedicated to serving those around her.
Amy Peck has two daughters, Abigail and Annabelle, as well as two dogs, Charlie and Lucy.
